It’s my favorite time of the year!  The fields are being prepared for planting all around me.  The trees are waking up from their winter slumber and blooming. All the animals are coming out of their hibernation. What makes this my favorite time of year, besides everything I said above, is that I can get my garden ready! I love tilling up the dirt and getting ready to plant.

There are countless webpages of information about how to prepare the soil, what plants to put in the ground, and how to maintain them all.  There is no way all that information can be presented in this one article.  What I want to present in this article is a seed package that contains 16 common garden plants.  This seed kit is produced by Mountain Valley Seed Company.

I like this seed package because the 16 plants in this package are easy to grow.  This is great for beginners in gardening, and seasoned gardeners that want to add some new lineage into their garden. All these seeds are organic, non-gmo, non-hybrid, and open pollinating.

Lets take a look at what this package contains:

Vegetable Seeds: Carrot, Tomato, Cherry Tomato, Zucchini, Kale, Lettuce, Beet, Snap Pea, Cucumber, Sweet Pepper, Jalapeno, Bunching Onion

Fruit Seeds: Watermelon, Cantaloupe

Herb Seeds: Basil, Cilantro

All of these seed are professionally packaged to ensure quality and yield a high germination rate. I have already gotten my seeds and soon will be planting them.  I can’t wait to see all those beautiful plants growing in my garden with all their bright colors.  With the harvest from these seeds you can make fresh salads, fresh salsas, and fresh produce that can be canned to be enjoyed all winter long.
